Well, in this article we are going to discuss about BlackBerry Storm 9500 which was first announced in November 2008. Till now some of the user said this phone is so far great and is capable of helping them in communicating without hindrance. But, unfortunately we should conclude that BlackBerry Storm 9500 fails to continue the family’s tradition. It is not performing better than the predecessors though the SurePress system tries to steal our attention. It arrives with no Wi-Fi, though some people think Wi-Fi is not a must have feature to follow a business phone. Well, we may agree with that argue, but the 9500 lacks doesn’t stop here, it has no email support without BlackBerry internet Service account. The user interface is lower than the competitors. The design looks bulk and fat. Add to that, this phone has no FM radio, no flash support, and no video-call camera. However, we should know the situation that this phone came almost two years ago, so we can expect more from this phone. If we compare it to the other newest Blackberry type, of course, its siblings would beat it easily.
Some of the good things of this Storm 9500 are that the audio quality is great and it came with nice web browser. Furthermore, this phone actually has 3.25″ 65K-color capacitive touchscreen of 360 x 480 pixel resolution with the Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 2100 MHz 3G with HSDPA support technology to follow. The operating system is using OS 4.7 which is equipped with built-in GPS and BlackBerry maps preloded. The internal storage capacity is 1GB and is completed with hot-swappable microSD card slot that ships with an 8GB card. In addition, this phone also has the Bluetooth and USB v2.0.
When you are faced with the huge of choices in front of you, would you still choose the BlackBerry Storm 9500?
